Day 25: I am thankful the friend I have had the longest. 30 years now! Pauline Hepler We met in St. Pauls Catholic School in Cleveland Ohio in 7th grade and I owe her so much. She has stood by me and with me during the hardest time of my life, never making me feel flawed or a burden. And this was when we were just 13 years old. She has always been wise beyond her years, but also she has the youngest heart of anyone I have ever known. When I think of Pauline, I think of the word fun. We often go for months and months without talking or writing. Sometimes even years but whenever we do talk, it is like we just saw each other the day before. She has given me a broader perspective on life, on people and on seeing things from their point of view. She has also, always loved me and supported me, oftentimes when I felt very un-loveable and broken. I could write pages and pages about how much she means to me, but I will sum it up with this: I love you, Grink Sister.
