Day 3. Hotter today but wonderful day. Kids today were very energetic :) They were sad that today was our last day with them. We were sad too. It was also the last day with our first group of 50 women. Awesome time with the women today. We made bracelets, had 1 minute manicures for the ladies (salt scrub) which they LOVED and were simply amazed by...even the Pastor came over and made did a 1 minute mani on his hands :) The ladies learned about positive and negative self talk and also how important it is to spend time with God on a daily basis. Had a super delicious and authentic Dominican meal. I think I could eat fried plantain every day. Tomorrow and Thursday will be women only! We will have 2 new groups tomorrow 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Each will be 50 women. Please pray that we can connect quickly with the women and they will be very accepting of the messages. Pray that we can maintain our energy in the heat and pray that we stay healthy the rest of the trip. Thank you so much!
