Day #3: Yesterday we continued to have problems, but Terry has now created a Frankenstein-monster style electrical relay to replace a hard-to-find, old optical sensor and things are working again. You know, even though weve had a bunch of problems this week, I always like it because I learn more when stuff doesnt work. Ive seen the inside of boxes and learned a ton about the electrical circuits and how the gun works this week. If everything is working, I dont get to see how the sausage is made. We are setting up for a second shot right now and once everything works again, Ill start feeling like we are truly up and running. In the meanwhile, here are some photos of how the sausage is made...
