Day 3 of Brownie Recovery! She is continuing to grow stronger and get her energy back. Shes been eating baby food (which she much prefers to be spoon fed to her--eating from the bowl is a lot of work!!) and I got to hold her for the first time today since the attack. Despite her broken ribs, bandages and drains, she climbed up into my arms and refused to be put down. Nearly her entire little body is shaved and bandaged and Im sure shell be in quite a bit of pain once shes fully off the IV medicines, but shes so strong and such a trooper!! She just wants to go home and made it very clear to us when we tried to leave, but tonight should hopefully be her last night in the hospital. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone for the continued thoughts and prayers and donations!! Every dollar helps!! Well find out the final amount once she is discharged but I know that Id never have been able to get Brownie the help she needed without all the donations and support from you all!
