Day 3 of the Happiness challenge: 1.) Rain makes me happy. All kinds. The grey sheets that just keeps coming and coming, the thunderstorm kind where the drops are big and fat. The Monkeys wedding (Jakkals trou met Wolf se vrou). I find nothing depressing about rain. I would happily retire in Seattle or Vancouver! I love the grey of the clouds, all shades, and the brilliant white of the clouds, all shades. Rain over the ocean is spectacular to watch. Sun on the rain over the ocean even more so. 2.) Hot English tea with milk and sugar makes me happy! (and lots thereof) It cures all. It is good for the soul. 3.) My kids make me happy. And sad, and crazy and excited. The keep me humble - you just never know how/who they are going to offend next. I LOVE!! them for all their silliness and kind hearts and lack of manners and awkward questions and innocence. Best of all, I know they love me back, cause they tell me often. Some so much they want to explode!
