Day 3 of the gratitude challenge. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate hence today i want to thank the children I was born with and the one I have. 1. I want to thank Baraka for being the joy of my life. You are evidence that truly God answers prayers bcos i so prayed for a son. I dont take it for granted that God blessed me with a child when there are millions of women who wud do anything for the fruit of the womb yet the Lord saw me worthy of this gift. May you continue to grow in favor of God & man and making mommy proud. 2. I want to appreciate my bro Kioni & my sis Rugi. Thank you for loving me and taking care of me when I was little and esp now that I am no longer so little. I know I was & probably still is an annoying little sister but i am grateful that you love me the same and you make sure that I know it. Kioni, your wisdom astounds me. Your calmness and strength in times of storms can surely only be from the wisdom you draw from our Heavenly Father. Thank you for I can always count on you to offer me guidance like a big bro and a father. Rugi I know I was a terrible small sister but partly that is bcos all i wanted to be when i grew up was a mini version of u so everything that u had I also wanted. I appreciate that u r probably the one person on earth who would kill in my defense & just so u know, I wud do the same for u. Lots of love sis! 3. I want to thank all my cousins for being an extension of my brothers and sisters. Its because of you I had the best childhood any child could ever ask for. I can never forget the exhilaration of sliding downhill the slope & into the river on a half cut mtungi (that shud be classified as extreme sports). Thank you for continually proving that blood is thicker than water. For sure we can never be put to shame by our enemies since we are an army & a full quiver.
