Day 4!!!! Its time to cross the bayou! LIFE!!! As time went by, sprinting back and forth pass this bayou was causing me to become extremely tired at track practice. I had barely qualified for the TAC Jr Nationals for track and field which was being held in Chicago! But my Mom still worked over time, borrowed money, and sold candy so I could make the trip. My Mom said to me, I believe you could win if your not sooo darn tired all the time ! Then I started to cry and tell her, its the bayou, Im scared to cross it so I run and it makes me sore and tired! My Mom jumped up and grabbed my hand and we walked to the bayou. We took off our shoes a and put our feet in the nasty water. My Mom started to cry as she said, my brother is gone forever and I had nothing to fear. I think we both healed that day! I won my track meet after losing really bad all year. DESPITE MY STRUGGLE I NEVER GAVE UP OR QUIT! After that day, every time I walked pass the bayou I made a wish! Some came true and some didnt but I was no longer in fear. I made the BAYOU my wishing well! I defeated the bayou!!! BEAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH! Building my strength with 2 angels on my side! Both of my brothers!
