Day 4 .... The end of the 1990s and the beginning of the new of the new century was a very transformative time in my life. My work began to get attention on the internet. And because of this, a collector discovered my work and bought nearly all my paintings. It was at this time I contacted artist Philip Rubinov Jacobson, and was now able to afford to travel to Austria to take his Old Masters New Vision seminar and had the opportunity to meet one of my great influences, Ernst Fuchs. The following year I had the great fortune to paint with Fuchs on his Apocalypse Chapel mural in Klagenfurt, Austria along with Amanda Sage and Laurence Caruana. When I returned, I was full of inspiration! I rented out a new studio space and began to devote myself to the next level of my work. Here are the first paintings of that period.
