Day 4 done! Another day where we were blest with the weather. Managed to squeeze in an extra few miles to make tomorrows trip (the hardest) a little easier. The last 10k into Levin was a slog as the southerly picked up bringing the front in. But we managed to finish 10min before I rain arrived. Thanks to Ollie for taking over support vehicle driver today; and of course once again a big thanks to Paul Cancellara Duynhoven for sharing the journey with me, both the highs and lows. We made such good time today that even with the extra 45ks Paul and I still managed to get to the Vigil Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes to give our thanks and praise to the big man :) Massive thanks to our Palmy hosts Jacqui & Rhys Mason who cooked us up an amazing home-cooked dinner tonight and being so accommodating. Last day tomorrow!! :-) I will be setting off from where we finished today, the SH1/SH57 junction, at 6:45am and all going well Ill be arriving at Oriental Bay at ~6:25pm (It may be earlier based on how Im feeling tonight, which is pretty good. - Watch the GPS tracking if you plan on coming down to see me finish :-) - The link is on my website). Itll probably take me a while to get my wetsuit on, but once I do I be finishing this City to City Challenge with a very slow 1k swim in the bay. Your support and encouragement is amazing and I dont think I could have got this far without it. You have inspired me to keep going through the tough times, and now here I am with one day to go. Much love and thanks. Shanon
