Day 7: Shon sat up by himself today about 7 times. Once over the edge of the bed. Hes cracking jokes. Got the IV cord extensions taken out of his neck ( I wasnt there, but from what I here there were LONG!) he ate about 5 bowls of cereal today and half of a pop tart. Drank a lot of fluids, and held a decent convo. With his moving around, he started draining a bit more so the drains may not come out for another day or two, but that ok!! Better safe than sorry :-) still no real movement in his fingers of his left hand, but the strength seems to be tricking down his arm. Kerri Leith is feeling a lot better and less stressed, they had a great time together today laughing. She got him some good items to exercise his hands. More to come tomorrow.
