Day One of vacation: got up at a decent time for a Sunday (i.e. not hungover) went downtown Jamestown for breakfast. Forgot how good oatmeal is. Talked with a local; they are very friendly here. Went home and spent three hours burning cardboard sitting in the yard listening to the trees creaking and pat yelling at the Steelers game. Had an episode with the fire alarm for no reason. Had a good dinner and now at the Firemans club having a drink. Conversations with Pat: #1 Me: I think she charged me $10 for $5 worth of bingo cards. PAT: shes using her iscabis... Me: wtf is an iscibis? U mean an abicus? Pat: whatever. The bean counter thing. #2 Pat: Why do I have to pay to get my car inspected but the Amish can drive a buggy on wooden wheels pulled by a horse? By the way they need to put a shitbag on them. Beth: well their brakes dont matter unless the horse dies...... Pat: they can ride around like Josey Wales....
