Day one In Paraguay. After an overnight flight and about 4 hours - TopicsExpress

Day one In Paraguay. After an overnight flight and about 4 hours of sleep, we landed in Asuncion, Paraguay. Customs and immigration were easy. We were greeted by Natalias mom, sister, aunt, uncle. off to moms house, shared gifts, went to supermarket, out to eat, back home for a brief nap and lunch and a discussion around how auto insurance works here. ( I know only I would want to know how that works here) then out for a auto tour of Asunción, Paraguay by Natalies sister Laura. By the way if you are considering driving here...you should know that there are no lanes, the general rules of the road are merely suggestions. I even closed my eyes for part of the way. Then it was running some errands, out to dinner and then a late night ice-cream snack. Feels hot here still 86 degrees at midnight. Learned how to use a bidet for the first time. Time to get some shut eye since there were not many house of sleep so far. To the rest of the St Vrain Valley Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley (Longmont, CO) team coming here Sunday....be warned its hot and humid.
