Day one of creation there was a "light" but no sun? There was a Son... Genesis 1:1-3: In the beginning God (The creator) created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God (The Spirit) was hovering over the waters. And God (The creator) said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. ....But the sun and the moon wasnt created until day 4. So turn to The book of John. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the LIGHT of all mankind. The LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify concerning that LIGHT, so that through him all might believe. He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the LIGHT. The true LIGHT that gives LIGHT to everyone was coming into the world. (John 1:1-9 NIV) When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the LIGHT of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12 NIV)
