Day one on Back to the basics. To start you must pray the salvation prayer, and I would like to say that for me the most important part of accepting Jesus into my heart that I truly believed on this scripture Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!.... I believed that in my heart the moment I read it that i was no longer that old person and that God made me new and no one was going to tell me anything different. Here is how simple it is to start. Salvation Prayer - The Simple Steps: 1. Acknowledge in your heart that Jesus is Lord. 2. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. 3. Believe that Jesus died for your sins and was raised three days later. 4. Repent of your sins Ok now find a quite place and calm your heart and say this prayer, even if you have done this before sometimes we are need to renewed in the Lord and start fresh, especial if you have been struggling lately. God, I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands.
