Day6 & what a day it was. Got up, dressed & in a taxi for breakie at Hash House a Go Go. Goodness me. The meals were ridiculous. What they eat for breakfast here is insane. Jumped in another taxi for a day of shopping at the premium outlet. Gave the credit card a hammering but am very pleased with our spoils. The shops are all outside & today was filthy hot. As we were leaving, we decided to get a snow cone. They boasted about having 41 flavours so I asked for pink lemonade. Oh sorry miss, its the only flavour we are out of. Of course it is. Anyhow, back into a taxi to return to the palace for a swim. This place is awesome. They even let you drink your cocktail while in the pool. Why wouldnt they? Theres a wet bar you can sit & drink while gambling -in the pool! After a wander around the huge pool area we got ready for dinner - the famous bacchanal buffet. Wow wee. The variety was like Gosford Leagues all you can eat, but on steroids. So many dishes to choose from. We managed to stuff ourselves stupid, then waddled off to catch a bus up to Fremont St. Its the original strip & very retro. Lots of music, lights, junky shops, funny characters. A haven for people watchers. You can zip line down the mall, above the crowds. Too bad we were wearing skirts. Back on the bus to the mad part of town. Saw lots of little chapels & bail bond offices on the way. Some operate 24/7. An indication of the type of people up the north end of town - bit dodgey. Got back to our end & rode the high roller ( vegas version of the London Eye ). Awesome view of the lights of vegas. Its now 2.49am & Glenn is snoring so I better sign off from another fun day.
