Deaf Success Stories Let us honor present or former Marylanders who have been influenced by this state in achieving national recognition in their fields of endeavor, thereby reflecting credit and honor upon Maryland and its citizens. For example, Jack R. Gannon, present Marylander and author and the late George W. Veditz, former Marylander and the first mover and shaker for rights of deaf children to learn both ASL and English in school classrooms. If you wish, you may email short stories in advance to FOLDA. And also you may ask for a free copy of Clerc-Gallaudet Week poster before December 1, 2014. FOLDA86@aol
