Dear 10,001 Miamians and Pets’ Trust Supporters, Friday, August 2nd, is “Call-the-Mayor Day” in Miami. We must keep letting them know we will never give up on our animals. (And you will hear me say this over and over because WE ARE NOT GIVING UP.) The Commissioners and Mayor did not listen to the voters who said to raise the tax, so now they have to get the money from the general funds. In an over-4-billion-dollar budget, they can find it. We just have to tell them. So, please... with your passionate and respectful voice, all Friday... August 2nd... Please ask the Mayor if he has changed his mind and will honor the will of the people and fund the Pets’ Trust as the people voted. Just use your own words. I have spoken to over a thousand of you... all of you know how to say it. You certainly say it to me. SAY IT TO THE MAYOR... The most important thing is to call. So please...
