Dear AMEX Travel, I am disappointed to the utmost level by the arrogance you are putting forward in requesting of of your client (that is me) to go change their name so it would fit how your system can handle it. My passport, birth certificate and all my other level documents have my name as Jean-Marc Lagacé.... not Jean Marc Lagace and certainly not Lagace/Jean Marc. We are in 2014 and youre not doing business exclusively in the US, you are dealing in a global economy where peoples name are not solely composed of the letter A-Z. Im very sorry my name does not fit your narrow and closed minded system. And no, I will not go onto the other systems that do accept and recognize the reality of this modern age and change it to accommodate your outdated business pra ctices. Take all the 55$ fee you charge every single of your clients when booking a trip and that should rapidly grow to a decent amount you can use to upgrade yourself to the modern age.
