Give me 2 minutes and I will show you how important you are and how EVERYTHING happens for a reason... When I started dating the woman that Im married to now she at that time lived in a Apt complex that was notorious for towing people for no reason. One night it was my turn, I woke up and my car was gone. Contacted my boss and explained what happened...she was fine with it and I was not docked in pay. Contacted the tow company and spoke to the owner and found out that I was actually towed illegally and that there would be no charge (as he begged me not to sue him) So, now Im standing curbside out side of the towing company trying to figure out WHY all this happened, no dock in pay..no charge for towing, hmph...Ok, get ready.... As I stand on the sidewalk the towing yard is in back of me..the street is filled with parked cars. Further into the tow yard there are other people from the complex that were also towed illegally waiting for their cars. One was a man with a small child (maybe his daughter) who was teasing the tow yard dog that was chained to post. After a while the dog got tired of being harassed and barked loudly scaring the child, who began to run out of the yard in fear (here we go). At that time a huge cadillac came speeding down the road..the child ran past me and into the street. Now, as I stated, the street was filled with cars so the driver of the cadillac couldnt see the small child over the cars...but I was tall enough for him to see me run into the street after the child. The cadillac swerved to avoid hitting me...doing so gave him the time to slow down and stop...before running over the child. I caught up to her on the other side of the road. When the father (assuming he was) came over I was a little upset over his lack of vigil and blasé attitude.. and that bothered me for days after that. Until it hit me...why I was there...why things had to fall into place..a certain way. That child would have easily been killed that day or at least VERY badly hurt. Was that day inconvenient?..yes...was it a aggravating, yes...did it benefit me..no! But that day I realized that things..ALL things happen for a reason. Sometimes its to your benefit..and other times its for the benefit of others. But everything that happens, everything you do that pushes you through the day or a moment or a situation has a purpose and meaning. You may at times be blessed to see it in front of you and understand it while other times you may just have to go on faith...but let me testify to this theory...everything happens for a reason and everyone of us matters.
