Dear AYSO Families, Region 140 is approaching the start of the new calendar year, January 2015. We are currently taking nominations for the AYSO Region 140 Board. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a specific board position, now is the time to do that. You can read job descriptions about the various board positions at ayso.org. The Regional Board is required to have the following positions filled: Regional Commissioner Regional Treasurer Regional Safety Director Regional Coach Administrator Regional Referee Administrator Regional Registrar Regional Child and Volunteer Protection Advocate Other board positions are available such as Assistant Regional Commissioner, Regional Secretary, Assistant Coach or Referee Administrator, Age Division Coordinators, Web Master. All of the individuals in these positions are volunteers. Our current board puts a lot of time and energy into making AYSO soccer a success for our community. We want to give every youth the opportunity to play soccer. With that desire, we need individuals to step up and volunteer to help run our regions program and make it the best that it can be for our youth. As parents or coaches you may have different ideas or input into helping our organization to succeed. We welcome individuals who will be solution focused as we chart our way through another year of soccer. Please consider volunteering for AYSO Region 140, either as a board member, coach or referee.
