Dear All, Thanks to the efforts of Rear Admiral Rtd Gary A R Best MSS. the compound of the North Georgetown Secondary School is now undergoing significant transformation. As many of you may know years of neglect has resulted in the surroundings of the school becoming overgrown with weeds and bush. This together with heaps of garbage has made the school compound an unsightly one. The Guyana Alumni is supporting the Rear Admiral Rtd in his efforts to clean up the compound of school and call on all present and past students to join in this effort. Please see below photos of the before and during the clean up exercise. This exercise is a very costly one and involved the use of excavators, trucks and other heavy duty equipment. It also requires significant amounts of labour. We would therefore appreciate your generous donations in meeting the cost of this exercise. Your pledge via this medium would be highly appreciated.
