Dear Charter Communications, Thanks for all the help. 57 days ago I updated my autopay information due to an expiring debit card. I was informed 30-45 days it would take before that would take effect. I patiently waited like a child waiting for Santa Claus, but low and behold 57 days later I get a letter in the mail saying Im overdue and I need to submit payment or my services will be shut off because my autopay is still suspended. What is a faithfully paying customer to do? Well hell call and clear up the discrepancy of course! Hark, what is that tone I hear on the other end? A steady Beep... Beep... Beep... not a ring, not a voicemail was heard. Just a busy tone. Saddened and frustrated I attempted to call 3 other numbers I found for you, but somehow all... ALL the numbers went straight to busy tone. Surely this is a mistake! Ill join the live chat and find a rep. Aha! Finally a human. But Jennifer was unhelpful in resolving my issue because she has a script that she is required to repeat at customers about their policies and cant realize the meaning of my questions. All she saw was autopay and spit off her pre-written text of It takes 45 days and you should continue submitting payments. In a frustrated fury I created a manual payment transaction and said Fine, Ill just pay it manually since you are obviously not getting what Im saying. Submit the transaction and what pops up? Of course an Autopay transaction is already in process for my account. Well, hell, why not. Ill just pay quadruple this month because Im just that pissed now. The kicker of this story kids is back on September 16th when I updated my information I called Charter to ensure that everything was set up correctly and that this wouldnt happen again. They reassured me that I was definitely good to go and I shouldnt have to worry anymore, but then why? WHY did Jennifer tell me that my autopay was still suspended? Ah, thats a tale for another day dear children because the mysteries of the Charter billing system are a vast and wide. So vast and wide that they dont even know what the hell is going on. If I wasnt required to have to have cable internet I would drop them in a heartbeat. Speaking of annoying things Charter does. Stop sending me the same effing 29.99 BUNDLE Flyer every other day. 3 red woods have died and were shredded in my mailbox because of those damn things... I know Im being snarky and this is rambling at this point, but I am at the breaking point on their ignorance of their billing system that it just amazes me. < /rant> PS: Im so pissed that I actually proofread this to make sure it read correctly.
