Dear Cobra families, Welcome back in 2015 and we hope you all had a nice holiday break and are ready to play in the second part of the cricket season. The season will start with training this week and the respective coaches/ team managers would have certainly been in touch with you. First we would like to congratulate all the boys that participated in representative cricket. In the ECA we had boys in teams in U12, U14, U16,U18. The overall results were ECA U18 - Arnold Shield - won in the GF with BCC Player ,Marcus McMahon (U18) ECA U16 - Beitzel Shield - won in the GF with BCC players, Jack (M)Carroll (U16A) and Nick Valentine (U18) ECA U14 - Nolan Shield - won in GF with BCC Player - Luca Gambell (U14A) Well done to all these teams! ECA -U14 - Allen Shield - made it to QF and well done to Sam Carroll (U14A) U12 Josh Brown and Mitchell Shield teams made it both to the QF and well done to Griffin Schultz, Aadi Shelat, Henry James and Josh Brown coach, Chris Morris. In the State Championship, U14 Emus played and unfortunately did not make it to the finals but ended well with a win in the plate finals. Bcc players were Jake Fraser-McGurk and Ben Bromell of U14A In U15 - Craig Shield competition, we had 3 BCC boys who played for Balwyn in this Turf competition. Balwyn s team won the GF in this U15 competition for the first time in its 30 year competition. Well done to Noah Croes and Sam Elliott (U16A) and Riley Lord (U16C) Jack Carroll (U16B) got to the QF with Box Hill U15 Craig Shield team and Will Easton (U16A) played in the Kew Craig Shield team. Well done to these boys as well In the State Championship -U18 Emus , the boys made it to the QF .Well done to Zack Richardson and Lewis English for a good carnival In the U16 -State Championship for Inner East Emus, they made the GF! Well done to Jon Catania, Jono Merlo and Seamus Bolton (U16A) who are all playing on Sunday 1/2/15 at Schramms Reserve. Please come down to support the boys! Overall great representation by our boys and a lot of success achieved by the teams representing our Inner East area!
