My mom had two days of chemo treatments (Monday & Tuesday) of this week. She has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and they say it is curable. On Wednesday of this week I prayed that God would give her a sign that her decision to go forward with this treatment would show immediate results. I told no one of this prayer including Denise. My sister just texted me saying “Mom’s parotid on the right is literally melting away”. The parotid is a gland on both sides of your face just below the ear. If you saw my mom a couple month ago, you would have noticed the large protrusion on both sides of her face (they stuck out literally about 3”). I have no idea what the future holds for my mom but this I do know, God answers prayers. The encouragement that comes from this answered prayer gives me hope.
