In response to the Terry Statewide Project: I LOVE the idea of volunteering at a state/national park to donate our time! As for the monetary donation, I have a cause that is near and dear to my heart, and I believe it does a great job of encompassing Mr. Terrys passions for scholarship and football. At the beginning of this school year, my high school principal, Charlotte Liptack, lost her husband and 10 yr old son, Landon, in a plane crash. Since the tragedy, our community has established The Landon Liptack Scholarship Fund in honor of our favorite little ball boy. The scholarship is to be awarded to a graduating senior at the end of this year, and I think that our Terry family could come together to celebrate Landons life and really make a difference in the life of a graduating senior.
