Dear Drone-oids: Just thought you might need to know. I am not The Right Kind Of Person, according to your fashionable chameleonic shallowness. I believe in God; in faith, hope, and love; in redemption & resurrection; in finding good and true and beautiful things, and from these, developing abiding principles of life. Instead of posting #HASHTAG FAILs and the correct feelings, I actually support a foster child. I give to charity. I have helped support a tribe in Papua New Guinea develop a carpentry program. I have collected used greeting cards to support abused, neglected, and abandoned children. I have counselled the families of murder-victims. Ive supported Iranian dissidents protesting their corrupt regime, and blogged for five years about free speech. Alhough Ive mentioned a few things above, its not and should never be ALL ABOUT MEEEEE. Because that makes you a selfish, do-little, feeling-obsessed childish twit with a short attention span. Twitter is a social media tool, not a way to change the world-- that takes blood, toil, tears, sweat, extended effort, and a willingness to know that if things cant be fixed in the time it takes to watch a commercial, or a sitcom, or a movie, that it still can be very worthwhile to fight the good fight over years or a lifetime, and not for this weeks flittering twittering cause.
