Dear Everyone; Im not a huge Facebook user, although I wish I were a bit more prolific because Im beginning to understand that sharing is... caring, however Id like to take the time to say some things here, now. I have finally settled into my new apartment which I never would have known about nor had the privilege to live in if it werent for my incredibly supportive friends and family, for letting me out-stay my welcome in their homes a number of times over this year while I battled with some relatively serious Inner Demons and recovered from some serious inner turmoils. Thank you to my incredibly generous family - both Spiritual and Material - for helping me and supporting me to bring forward my work, which is now ready to take place. Details of gatherings, meditation sessions, rituals, bodywork sessions, yoga/tai-chi/somatic movement sessions and womens circles will follow on a website which will be posted in the next few days. I will be opening my home from Fajr/Dawn (currently 4:04am) until Sunrise (currently 5:55am) every morning from Thursday the 28th of November onward for (Sufi-based) practices of prayer, meditation, and readings. There will also be, on occasion devotional song and oud playing. People - anyone - who feels a calling toward this place, path, or Reality of Beauty is both Welcome and Encouraged to join. “Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesnt matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.” - Rumi There will be breakfast afterward and gold coin donations are welcome - though not necessary - in order to join. This practice - these meditations and gatherings - are perfect for those who need a reason to just begin their morning practices, enjoy/prefer to be with others in spiritual practice as opposed to being alone, or simply have trouble making sure they wake up early, find some time for themselves before life begins, and eat a good breakfast - all of which will be provided, God Willing.
