Dear Facebook friends, I have gotten a lot of heat for the previous picture I posted about the person following women in Great Neck, which has since been removed. I removed the photo out of respect to numerous people, but NOT because there is no truth or validity to what I posted. For the record, I was not the original recipient of that text message. I was forwarded that screen shot by my family member that was being followed. Even though many people thought it was a joke, or funny, it is not. My family member has 3 young children and was EXTREMELY petrified due to this situation, to the point where she even contemplated not taking her kids to their summer activities in GN because she feared of what may Gd forbid happen. I received the following from my family member, who spoke to another friend that was followed by the same people (according to the cars make & model, & New Jersey license plate number X70-DRX). Please pay attention: She told me that she had spoken to a security guard and that this is much more serious than what people think homeland security and the FBI are investigating and they said that the car is registered in Texas with a New Jersey license plate and the name of the owner doesnt match the liscence plate, they said the car might be a rental. They are really investigating. He was also taking pictures of young girls from their car. CRAZY!!! So again, I ask everyone to be careful and cautious of their surroundings. If anyone sees a Mercedes with the above mentioned New Jersey license plate around Great Neck, call Nassau police IMMEDIATELY and without hesitation. This is putting the women, children, and even the men of our community in danger. I ask anyone that shared the picture I posted originally to remove it, as it was brought to my attention family names of the text message recipients were showing in the picture, and share this status instead.
