Dear Family and Friends, Many of you have, for several days now, been asking how my Dad is doing and have offered up your prayers, positive energy, and good wishes. ALL are greatly appreciated and I wish to thank each of you so much for your concern. I apologize I havent been online to thank you sooner. Believe me, your expressions were seen and felt by me and communicated to him! We all were very grateful! The news regarding the mass on Dads pancreas was not good and, unfortunately, it is not operable. I feared this diagnosis when the mass was first discovered and, while you think youre prepared for the news, youre not and its never easy hearing the Doctor report his findings. Dad will most certainly continue to need prayers going forward as we head into a new phase of life. A special Thank You to Jenny Mitchell, Susie Deeter, Rick Dishman, Kent Shuff, Dale Basham, Carol Jennings Richard and John Richard who shared friendship, fellowship and wonderful conversation in person over dinner or drinks, giving me much needed sanity breaks during my time in Muncie this past week. Whether your well wishes were in person, text messages or phone calls, I have felt your love and compassion and I am eternally grateful to each one of you. Thank You ALL!
