Dear Friend: As you know, funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice. We at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home continue to experience the increasing demand for cremation funeral services, which we now have to conduct offsite because we need a Special Use Permit from the City of Peachtree Corners to install a crematory retort in our existing funeral home and chapel. Currently, we have to rely on other funeral homes in other locations to provide cremation services, usually in Lawrenceville or Loganville. There is clearly a need for an on-site crematory at Crowell Brothers. We would appreciate your support in favor of granting this Special Use Permit. I have attached hereto the mailing address and the individual email addresses of the Mayor and Council members of the City of Peachtree Corners, the members of the Planning Commission and Diana Wheeler, the Community Development Director for the City of Peachtree Corners. We would appreciate you sending an email or letter to them to let them know you support granting SUP 2014-0004 to permit an on-site crematory at our funeral home.
