Dear Friends, In the present context Indian Democratic system - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends, In the present context Indian Democratic system faces the biggest challenge of communalism, capitalism and fascism. Majority of people who are busy in earning their daily bread and butter has been shown the Shekhchillite dream of ‘Development’. The common man is befooled in the name of caste, religion and pseudo-nationalism. The people are becoming parochial, narrow in their thought, speech and conduct. Few anti-national and communal organizations are busy in hatching out a conspiracy of befooling, confusing and misdirecting people under the guise of mythical and illusive concept of Hindutva, which they call a true nationalistic concept. They are taking all the possible destructive steps to despoil/tarnish the ‘secular’ image of India. They incite one Indian against another to fight in the name of religion, caste, region, gender, culture and language, etc. The hypocrite politicians are involved in germinating the seeds of hatred in Indian society for their political benefit. Instead of providing ‘Cheap and Quality Education’, ‘ Food with good nutritional value and Best Healthcare System’ to all Indians and providing ‘Employment and Job opportunities to Indian youths as per their skills and talents politicians made it a habit to make controversial statements. Givers of food to nation and society, farmers and peasants are being exploited to benefit Capitalists, Industrialists, Big businessmen, contractors and agents directly. The fourth pillar of democracy which is there for the protection of the rights of labourers, peasants and poor people has become a plaything in the hands of capitalists. Therefore media houses are committing a great sin of serving “Good as Bad’ ‘Bad as Good’ to common masses. Few organizations and media houses are exceptions to such malpractice. There is a great increase in the incidents of attacks and violence on Dalits, Adivasis, Minorities and women. Corruption in the country is at it’s highest peak. This is happening in this country because the believers in the principles of ‘Liberty, Equality,Fraternity and Social Justice’ do not come together and fight jointly against the wrong customs and anti-national ideologies prevalent in the nation. Therefore the murderers and ‘cannibals’ are felicitated publically and get elected to higher constitutional posts. The supporters and believers of ‘Sovereign Republic, Parliamentary Democracy and Constitutional Morality’ are scattered in various organizations and groups. The preachers of humanity, compassion, friendship, fraternity and love are in a deep slumber. Tathagat Buddha was the first great social revolutionary who taught the world ‘Republican Ideology’ of respecting the sovereignty of every individual. Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar strived to revive this human civilization in the form of Indian constitution. But counter-revolutionary forces put many hurdles in the way of ‘Republican Ideology’. Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar wanted to inculcate ‘Republican Ideology’ among the people of all communities, sects, castes, religion and regions. Hence he made correspondences through letters to Rammanohar Lohia, P.K. Atre, Periyar Ramaswami Naykar and all those who were in favour of ‘Peoples’ Republic’.Due to untimely Mahaparinibban of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar the inclusive ‘Republican Ideology’ was restricted to particular communities and castes by counter-revolutionary and communal forces. Today ‘Republican Ideology’ is overlooked and tried to make an end of it not only by the counter-revolutionary forces but by those who consider themselves as believers of the principle of ‘Liberty, Equality and Fraternity’. Still there are majority of people in this country who believe in the noble principles of Human Freedom, Humanity, Compassion, Equality, Fraternity and Social Justice. They are all Republicans. Republicans are those who believe that Democracy is a system by which the revolutionary changes can be brought about in the social and economic life of an individual without bloodshed and violence. Republicans are those who believe that every Indians should be entitled to equal justice and equal rights. They will strive to establish equality where there is want of it. Republicans are those who strive to provide equal opportunity to all Indians for their self-development. Republicans are those who strive to protect the rights of all Indian citizens and authority of all constitutional bodies. Republicans are those who think that every individual should get social, economical, political and religious freedom. Republicans are those who are against the injustice of one man against another. They strongly protests against all kinds of injustice of one man against another. Republicans are those who strive to inculcate the noble principles of ‘Liberty, Equality and Fraternity in society. Republicans protest against the slavery of one country over another. Republicans are those who put their lives at stake for the protection of secular values. Republicans are those who regard Parliamentary Democracy as the best form of Government for the well being of an individual, community, society and nation. To bring together all these Republicans under one banner and on one platform and to give a serious thought for the problems prevalent in India ‘Republican Vichar Manch has organized a ‘National Conference of Republicans’ on Sunday 21st September, 2014 in Nagpur at Vidarbha Sahitya Sangha’s Hall, Fourth Floor, Zansi Rani Square, Sitabuldi, Nagpur. This conference welcomes all the citizens of India who believes in Parliamentary Democracy and Humanistic Principles.Republican Vichar Manch gives an open invitation to all the patriots and humanists to attend this conference to flutter the flag of humanity above everything,Republican Vichar Manch appeals every Republicans to provide physical, mental and monetary support for the grand success of the conference and to give a ‘strong voice’ to Republican Ideology.
