Dear Friends, Its 5am Saturday morning here in Mozambique, and my wife was able to sleep some during the night. Ive done my best to balance being a pain by waking her to drink more water and to allow her body to rest. Our plan is to go to the airport this afternoon and attempt to go standby on a flight back to Johannesburg, South Africa where some of the best healthcare in all of Africa is available. The plans would then be to hold up in a hotel close to the airport and wait for Debbie to rehydrate. A wonderful friend and doctor reminded me in my previous post that the 16hour flight from Johannesburg to Atlanta will dehydrate her again, so time must be given for Debbie to fully recover. Since healthcare is non existing, at least in terms of what we consider medical care in America, then we feel this is the best option. We would appreciate your prayers around 2pm (Mozambique time) or 8am (Eastern US time) as we hopefully board the 2 hour flight from Nampula to Johannesburg. Thank you all for your continued prayers and well wishes. Its humbling and touching to see have so much outpouring of love & care from you.
