Dear Friends....This mail is in regard of the charity program that we are doing every year... The place is 35 KMs away from the Bangalore city and was located in a very calm and beautiful environment.... There were about 25 inmates comprising of 4 orphans going for secondary education, 3 mentally retarded and 19 old age woman and men... the most terrible thing is all are Hypertension and diabetes patients with broken legs, un-healing wounds and swelling legs and are above 65 years of age.. We spoke to them in personnel and came to know the wondering and successful life they led in their past... And the kind of care and support they are getting from this home at this point of age after being neglected by their children... Later we talked to an amazing person by name Mr. Veda Vyas (An Ex-Service man) who has became more than a human to all the people residing and kept our motive in front of him... He simply denied the help in the form of money deposited into their bank accounts, but told us to provide Rice, Dal and Medicines to the extent that we can to feed and to take care of the inmates. So we have started the process and I request each and every one to support us by contributing to this activity on the eve of DIWALI this year in the form of provisions, used old woman saris, old woman night ware, old sweaters etc... You can directly visit the home at any time and please do talk to the entire inmates when you visit, make them happy and see the vibrant colours of happiness in them...
