Dear Friends, Whole India is deeply saddened by the magnitude of damage done by Hudhud and its catastrophic results in coastal AndhraPradesh that hit on Sunday, October 12 2014. As said by our elders - Just as any mammoth construction starts with single brick as the foundation stone. just as a walk of a thousand miles begins with single step , we as a Team wanted to help cyclone effected people by donating basic amenities in Vishakapatnam by selecting a highly affected village and if possible reach out to other Rural villages in Vishakapatnam and other affected places. After a lot or research and analysis, Team ASHVATTHA finalized Pamulavaka (v) to help the needy people in that village. Proper planning and active Team work helped us to succeed in reaching needy people at the right time. We helped 330 families by donating basic amenities required for a family like - 5Kg Rice, 1Kg TorDal, 1Kg Onion ,1/2kg Tamarind, 1/2 Liter oil, Mirchi - Haldi powder, Poppy seeds and a Blanket on Sunday, Nov 2 2014. Team Ashvattha would like to Thank every single individual/organisation who stood beside Ashvattha for helping HUDHUD Cyclone affected families in Pamulavaka (V) for their kind hearted contributions and timely support.We are grateful to all donors for their direct- indirect support. We are god given brothers and sisters who united for a cause. We made things happen for the large extent by donating basic necessities to 330 Families in Pamulavaka (V).Your donations have served more then 330 Families in Pamulavaka. Families who received above listed food items , expressed their gratitude and happiness and said , it is truly and timely service of ASHVATTHA for HUDHUD cyclone effected families in that RURAL Village of Vishakapatnam. All your contributions reached them in their hard times. A true moment of pride sharing the happiness. And also thanks everyone who made this possible.Efforts never go wasted....
