Dear Friends... as many of you have heard by now the temperatures here in Los Angeles are expected to drop into the 30s this week. While we are not used to seeing the number 3 in a forecast unless preceded by a 7 or an 8, I want to assure you all I will somehow prevail. Ive identified several pieces of non Mid-Century Danish furniture that can be used as emergency fuel for the outdoor barbecue and patio warmers if matters worsen and gas rationing is implemented. In the meantime I will be preparing several batches of Martinis and studying evacuation routes to Palm Springs that pass at least one Trader Joes. Please keep all of us Southern Californians in your thoughts.
