Dear Furiends, Dat Mommy here. We have dropped Dobby off at the vet this morning to undergo a rather urgent surgery. Many of you are aware that when we adopted Dobby from NMDR, he had some dark, skin tag like growths on his belly. I was told that they were nothing to worry about. Over a year plus, I have kept a VERY close eye on these growths. Approximately 10 days ago I noticed the larger of the two begin to change very slowly. I called and scheduled an appointment with our vet for yesterday. Come October 12th, I took the photo of Dobby wearing the red sweater. The third photo in this sequence was taken on Wednesday, and the fourth, yesterday. Today the growth is even bigger. He is scheduled to undergo surgery to remove this and two other suspect growths at 10:30 EST. PLEASE keep him in your prayers!! For those of you who are already aware of this and have offered to help with the cost of his surgery, the estimate we received this morning is roughly $1,000.
