Dear Genealogy Friends. Maybe some of you do not know him, but I wanted to let you know about our genealogy friend Larry Anderson who lives in the Philippines. Here is a message from him. I got this today. From Larry to a doctor friend: Wish I had time to respond just now, am at the gov. mansion for the moment using his power at the government expense but briefly as the time there is now past 5, so all gone from offices. The training as nurse here now would be invaluable, I have had so many fracture issues, from clavicle, femur, upper, lower, ribs, you name it. Amputations, such sad stories but gets worse over in Leyte just next to us here in Bohol. Bohol was getting its power from Leyte so with the Typhoon all power was wiped out and cannot be restored for many weeks months or a year? So trying to contact the military thru the Pacific Fleet, the air craft carrier group to see if they could assist in bringing in power and heavy equipment. God bless for your help, if you need a vacation ha, just come on over, you would fit in very well. Sincerely, Larry Anderson In a message dated 11/15/2013 10:15:32 A.M. China Standard Time, Another message from him: Dear Joan, more news of injured, sick, massive overload and no supplies, no electric, etc. I will try to get the power and time to copy and quote all the messages from Dr. John Paul Camello. He has been working on his own, mostly the only one, now has a new list of 15 more today, including severely burned child, that child will most likely have to die unless somehow there is help and evacuation. the child with broken clavicle and pneumonia with a cyst developed on his lungs, done, they will do no more, has already run into thousands of pesos. The child, 5 year old girl with a hole in her heart since birth, mother told she has to have 1 million pesos, that is 20,000 dollars. She is my son, Jonathans aid, Jonathan is severely handicapped with spina bifida, now since no electric, has also developed a bed sore that I am treating every day, up and down depends on how much time he spends on it. So many others, cannot begin, if only some help here. your medical expertise would really help, no need to fully qualify, you could do so much in advisory even, as I do,ha my credentials are so old they are petrified with the dinosaurs but still do what I can, mostly getting others now to help. The other direction is that the Gov. has asked me to work also in shelters and I have now enough to build a shelter for a family, that will offer so much and example of hope to many others. I can get as we go along, the statistics and examples of work, housing, etc. on web sites for others to see. Wish I had time to review all your references, but power now very low, it shuts off so quickly. God bless, so eager to find help, I ma in tears and frustration every day, running so fast from about 5:30 till late and even up middle of night to try to communicate with others there opposite times. God bless, am loosing power, Sincerely, Larry Anderson Tagbilaran City, Bohol Philippines
