New Ohio River Website and App to Help You Recreate Safely Do you boat, fish, paddle or engage in other water sports on the Ohio River? Check out the new website and free wireless device app launched by the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSD) to help you recreate more safely: • Recr8OhioRiver.org website • Recr8OhioRiver app at the App Store and Google Play MSD and its partners, the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO) and Sanitation District No. 1 of Northern Kentucky (SD1), developed the website and app as a public service initiative. The tools help recreational users make informed decisions about where and when to boat, fish, paddle and engage in other water sports on the Ohio River. Recr8OhioRiver focuses on water quality, river conditions and weather, but also provides information about local marinas, fish advisories and boat traffic. MSD worked with local water quality experts and water sports enthusiasts to help fine-tune the tool and beta test both the app and website. Please help MSD spread the word about this tool.
