Dear Gov. Joey, below is the update as of June 5 10:18. 1. Status of new transformers a. Transformer 1 - increased from 40 to 50% loading. - Recorded abnormal high temperature at terminal of one secondary bushing - Will increase loading but this is dependent on the temperature rise on the terminal. - Shutdown scheduled on Saturday, June 7 for corrective actions (after putting on line Transformer 2) b. Transformer 2 - Assembly of components and accessories in progress. - Projected to be energized by evening of Friday, June 6. 2. Status on consumers with power supply (please see attachment for areas/feeder) a. Feeder 1 and 2 - 24 hour supply b. Feeder 3 and 4 - still in rotating brown-out but shorter period ( from 12 to 7 - 8 hours) 3. We project that the power situation will normalize on Friday, June 6 midnight at the earliest and Sunday, June 8 noon at the latest. We will do our best to meet this timetable but this could be affected by unexpected developments just like what happened with Transformer 1. For Tabaco Substation, the new 10 MVA Transformer will arrive on Friday, June 6 midnight. We will schedule tomorrow 2 - 3 hour power interruption related to the installation of this transformer. An advisory will be released related to this. Best regards, Alan S. Marchan
