Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You today with a heart of thanks. Thank You for allowing me to see my first Friday as a VISTA. Thank You for new friendships and bonds. Thank You Lord for new opportunities and challenges. Thank You for peace and patience. Thank You Lord for blessing me and my family as well. Lord thank You for early rising and late laying down. Thank You Lord for life, health, and strength. Lord I know how it could have been this morning. Someone could have seen my name in the obituaries instead of on facebook wrapped around a prayer. Lord I say thank You. Thank You for the small things Lord like shoes that dont hurt my feet and food thats fresh. Lord we take too many things for granted. Weve forgotten life in bondage. Weve forgotten the journey through the wilderness. Lord help us to remember that it is by Your grace and mercy that we are set free. Nothing that any man will do will amount to the blood of Jesus... shed for our transgressions... shed for our sins... so that we might have life and life more abundantly. Lord thank You for the blood that still is keeping me. Father we utter this prayer in Your Son Jesuss name... AMEN #iwontgoback
