Dear Heavenly Father, Our world is in trouble, our nation has lost its way, and our governments are passing laws that we just don’t understand. But Lord, we know that You are our help in times of trouble. And so, we will not fear! We will not fear! As your Word says, “You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” and no matter what happens we will trust in You. We will not become helpless or discouraged, we will not despair, we will stand strong and be still in Your presence. We know that in the midst of troubles, that is when miracles come, and we are asking for a miracle God – to restore our country, to bring an end to the fighting and discord, and to bring back a country that honors You above all else Lord. We know it can happen, because You are God, and You will be exalted among the nations! And on this earth! Lord, we place our fears in your hands, we place our world, our country, our nation, our state, our government, our church and most especially our family in Your hands, and we release our worries and burdens to You. We will be still and know that You are God. We love and trust you Lord. In Jesus Name, Amen. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells. God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day. Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts. The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come and see what the Lord has done, the desolations he has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the shields with fire. He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’ The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.” (Psalm 46)
