Dear Jeff and RC fellow friends, After a long period of waiting - TopicsExpress

Dear Jeff and RC fellow friends, After a long period of waiting my new Xplorer2 ST Lite Vtail is in my hands, delivered personally by Mr. NAN models, during my participation in Bulgaria F5J 2014 EuroCup 4-6 July in Dupnitsa BUL. The best gift for my birthday :) The new X2, has some changes to the old X2 ST Lite, is a piece of art ! I was speechless when Mr. Nikolai was explaining to me the alterations to the old glider. New carbon fabric for the wing, new fuselage, just 160grms in comparison to the old 270-290, and it will be ONLY carbon made and as he said half weight double stiffness. Both Xtail and Vtail fuses are the same pertaining the tail servos installation tha are inside the canopy so to obtain a different CG. The proposed CG by Nikolai is 120mm for the Vtail and 130mmm for the Xtail. The new fuselage is going to reduce the overall weight down to approx. 1800-1900grms depending the equipment each pilot is going to implement. It is engineered superbly !!!!! I started working on the X2 doing the wire harness and preparing the wing for the servo installation. My planned setup is : ESC Kontronik Koby 55LV (just 8mm thick) Motor Scorpion 2221/8 with Reisenauer gearbox 5:1 Prop 14x10 and Freudenthaler turbo 30/6mm carbon spinner Vtail servos are MKS 6100 and 3150s for the wing. Multiplex RX-7 compact M-Link dual RX telemetry receiver ! Ill try to keep this post updated .....
