Dear Light Group, During this last week before Easter, we are reminded of the last week of Jesus physical life. The Last Supper was one event of that memorable final week. At the Last Supper, Jesus said to his disciples, This is my meat, eat me This is my blood, drink me. An interpretation of this is that Jesus was saying, You are the Christ. If you have eaten me and you have drunk me, you are the Christ. Seek not outside of self for the Christ. Look within. This notion of oneself as the Christ is preposterous for some, blasphemous for others, and inconceivable for most. But what if it were true? What if we are the Christ? Then what? If its true that we are the Christ, then, every moment of our existence, we should ask, How would a Christ do this? The answer to that question need not be, Through miracles. Instead, the answer focuses on consciousness, on a consciousness that is so pure and so clear, on a consciousness that is one with the Divine, on a consciousness so completely focused on the Divine that no other thoughts can enter, on a consciousness that only gives and gives and gives of Divine Love - to everyone and everything. During our Light Group prayer time, let us each image our real selves. Let us image the Christ within. Let us image what that Christ is like, what it says, how it thinks, how it goes through its day. Let us image how that Christ can be awakened and strengthened. Let us image what it means to think like a Christed being and act like a Christed being. Can we get started being the Christ, even if we are not perfect? Yes. Simply by practicing being the Christ, the Christ consciousness and the way of the Christ will become a part of our world. It will become a natural way of being. By programming our Christ selves to consistently manifest in us, this Christ consciousness more and more will become the totality of our consciousness. As more and more people enter this consciousness of the Christ, we shall accomplish the mission Jesus gave us in the Book of Revelation: we shall bring into existence the new Heaven and the new Earth, combined as one. If you would like a prayer to initiate your consciousness into that of the Christ, you might try this: The Creator in me reveals to me the nature of my Christ consciousness. The Creator in me infuses every part of my being with this Christ consciousness. Every atom, every cell, every muscle, every organ, every bone, every hair of my body is infused with Christ consciousness. My physical body is Christ. My astral body is infused with Christ consciousness. My astral body is Christ. My soul is infused with Christ consciousness. My soul is Christ. I am Christ. And this Christ is pure Love, pure Light, pure Joy. And this Light, Love, and Joy radiates to everyone and everything, so that the new Heaven and the new Earth are merged as one.
