Dear Morbius fans, We need to be prepared. Many feel that the new Secret Wars is going to merge the Ultimate universe with the 616 universe. So allow me to introduce to you to Ultimate universe version of Morbius. Introduced in Ultimate Spider-man 96 this version of Morbius was not a vampire that had been created by science but is actually a supernatural vampire and the biological brother of Dracula. As Dracula was not born a vampire its presumed neither was Morbius and that his brother probably forced him into the fold. Like his 616 counterpart this Morbius fights his vampiric nature and actually slays evil monsters while snarkily arguing with the young Peter Parker. There is no confirmation on if this Morbius is a scientist like his 616 counter-part. However, apparently the Ultimate Loki (who shares the same intellectual status as Morbius according to Marvel wiki) now poses as a Norwegian scientist. As Marvels main continuity 616 is likely merging with 1610 (Ultimate Universe) we might see Morbius mix and match traits with his supernatural (And presumably much older) counter-part.
