Dear Muslim and Christian folks; we verily need religious - TopicsExpress

Dear Muslim and Christian folks; we verily need religious tolerance when ever certain aspect of our religions are being the subject of discuss. When I update my status calling upon my muslim friends not to celebrate X-mas with you, you need to look beyond what eyes could see and reason with me with TOLERANCE. A perfect look at what gave me the motivation to say what I say is more important than turning the table on me, starting sporadic insults and name callings... To the extent of declaring me a partial member of deviant extremists groups like ISIS, Alqaeda and or Boko Haram, even though you read tons of my assertions against those deviant folks. However, looking at the genesis of Santa and all whats surrounding it, everyone will draw a conclusion that celebrating X-mas is not part of Christian Doctrines, in fact, Jesus Christ PBUH wasnt born on December 25th. This is a fact that I dont need to lecture any of my Christian Brothers or Sisters about. So how did celebrating X-mas came to be? A little glance into history will solve and loose this knot. All in all, we are aware about how Roman paganism creeped into Christianity, it built up the foundation of Trinity; a belief alien to early Christians that live 300 years after Christ, before it was inculcated into Christianity in the Serial councils of Nicea and what followed. Same dogma gave birth to celebrating birthdays of Roman gods that are now painted blurred and presented to you as X-mas and for Christ. Well... I dont wanna go deep! The backbone of Christianity is perharps the Holy Bible in the palms of christians. I think, we need to read more between the lines and paragraphs to ascertain the real teachings of Christ and fake beliefs inserted therein. While on the other hand, for us (Muslims), Jesus PBUH is one of the mightiest Messengers of God... Hes among the Ulul Azm (Top 5 Messengers of God In Islaam). But according to Islaam, Jesus was a Messenger of God, messengership is the highest position of noblity a person would ever attain. Thats why its a pillar of faith in Islaam to believe in all Messengers of God (Jesus inclusive). But Allah ordered us to reject any form of paganism as he ordered you in your scriptures. And both of us are aware that celebrating X-mas has nothing to do with Christianity... Some Christian denominations dont even celebrate it. So as for those that celebrate it, why would you not obey your Lord and distance yourself from paganism and all its re-cycled forms? As for the Muslims that Bother to celebrate x-mas, why are you doing so despite knowing its genesis and how our christian folks considers it to be the birthday celebration of son of God (God forbid)?
