We’re delighted to inform you that have been nominated for your work with ASR Elites FC in the ‘Sporting volunteer of the year’ category of the Luton Volunteer Awards 2014! ‘Luton Volunteer Awards 2014’ is a unique opportunity to thank and celebrate the achievements of Luton’s volunteers who freely give up their own time for the benefit of Luton and its people. A number of local organisations and sponsors have come together to organise a special awards evening and this will take place on Thursday 5 June at the University of Bedfordshire. Only three nominations were shortlisted in each category and I’m delighted to inform you that you have been selected by the judging panel and have a chance of winning on the night itself, so make a note in your diary for the awards ceremony on the evening of Thursday, 5 June 5.30pm – 8.15pm at University of Bedfordshire We received a high number of nominations for the awards and this, combined with the high calibre and quality of each submission, made the task of selecting a shortlist in each category particularly challenging, so congratulations on the achievement of being included.
