Dear Parents: As President of the Yulee Pop Warner Organization, I would like to extend an invitation to all Yulee youth, between the ages of 5 and 15, to participate in our 2015 program. Our goal is to develop well-rounded young boys and girls who learn not only the fundamentals of football and cheer, but also the importance of education and teamwork, in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound mind, body and character while having a good time along the way. Yulee Pop Warner has been and will continue to be an outstanding educational & athletic organization that provides a high quality experience to every athlete. Our goal is that each athlete: • Feels like and important part of the team regardless of performance • Learns the skills, tactics, and strategies of the game and improves as a player • Is coached using the principles of positive coaching • Stimulates their academic achievements through participation in our program • Learns life lessons that have value beyond the playing field • Have Fun! Yulee Pop Warner is a 100% volunteer organization that develops positive values in our youth. We are committed to creating a positive culture in which coaches, parents, fans, officials, volunteers and athletes work together. I know the amount of time and effort it takes to prepare a team, league and organization to operate effectively and efficiently in order play on those meaningful Saturdays. Please Take Time to Volunteer We as a football board begin preparation for the upcoming season in January and work all the way through the end of our current season. I would like to encourage all of our families to become more involved in our program because without parent participation it will be impossible to grow and improve our program. Without parent involvement, the league could not exist. We also need volunteers for various other functions that greatly assist the coaches, the players and the league overall. We are constantly looking for coaches, so if you are interested in coaching, or if you have any questions, please email presidentyaa@gmail and I will respond as soon as possible. Finally, I would encourage you and all of our coaches to recruit new families into our organization so that we can grow our football family! I am committed to doing what I can to continue to improve what others have done before me and with your help I know we can do it. I would like to thank you in advance for making the commitment to this league and look forward to working with you this season.
