Dear Sacred Journal : 1/20/2015 CREMATION VERSUS BURIAL It is strongly recommended that Cremation over burial in the Earth. It is recommended and that 72 hours be allowed before this is done to allow the soul extension to complete the Bardo (After Death) experience. By the use of fire, all forms are dissolved. The more quickly the human vehicle is destroyed the more quickly its hold upon the withdrawing soul extension is broken. Some of the reasons for choosing cremation is • It hastens the release of the subtle vehicles from the etheric body, thus it will occur within a few hours rather than a few days: • It purifies the astral plane • It stops the down ward moving tendency of desire. • It prevents poisoning of the Earth. Cemeteries are unhealthy psychic spots. One day, burial will be against the law, and cremation will be enforced as a health and sanitation measure. Just think about it: When we bury a diseased body that has cancer, let’s say, in the Earth, we are poisoning the Earth with cancer. If the body is cremated, the earth Mother is saved this misery. We must never forget that the earth is a living being, just as we are, as the minerals, stones crystals. Its important to make prior arrangements with who and where you want to be cremated and the 72 hour waiting period before cremation should be established in your will and instructions for funeral homes to carry this request for you, Remember there is an art to dying and the science of the bardo deals with the three days that follow the actual death experience of the physical body.
