Dear Scott: I am going on a four-day business trip and my husband is joining me so we can make it a bit of a vacation too. Our 12 and 13 year-old daughters insist they dont need a babysitter and will be fine if left home alone. They both have babysitter experience and have proven themselves to be responsible. My husband says they have earned the opportunity. I say I won’t be able to enjoy the time away not knowing what is going on at home. Plus I don’t want to be the bad guy.
