Dear Students, the DAMA Orchestra will be over at KE-LH1.2 today to do a short presentation for their SPB-DAMA Young Artists Programme 2013-2014. Further details are as below: ---------------------------------------------------------- An opportunity to train and work with the multiple award-winning Dama team, whose performances in Malaysia and abroad – including China, Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia - have received many critical acclaims. Participants will also enjoy the coaching and mentoring provided by experienced local and foreign theatre practitioners who will be at hand guiding them and facilitating the face-to-face sessions. The programme briefly is as follows: SPB-Dama Young Artists Project This Young Artists Programme is a performing arts education, appreciation and enhancement programme for young aspiring singer-actors, actor-singers and musicians or instrumentalists interested in enhancing their professional musical theatre stagecraft. Programme Features Designed as a modular system, this Stage Performance Enhancement programme covers three modules. The modules for the singer-actors and actor-singers: Module 1: Acting; Module 2: Singing; and Module 3: Musical Theatre Performance. For musicians: Module 1: Musicking The Theatre I; Module 2: Musicking The Theatre II; and Module 3: Musical Theatre Performance. Each module covers a three-month period and serves as a self-contained standalone unit.
